So, in Novemeber 2003 (and $ 100 later) I got the set and have been hooked to the music AND the anime since then. Several of the reviews on Amazon said to ignore the TokyoPop released and get the 10-disc collection on eBay. Then a few years go by of listening to nothing BUT this CD (I know, SCARY! ), my best friend told me about the TokyoPop version of Initial D when it was beginning to come out in Engrish (late 2003, IIRC) on and Amazon's website.

The CD also had the TV size versions of the beginning and end themes to First Stage (Around the World, Rage Your Dream, Break In2 The Nite) as well as the beginning theme to Secong Stage (Blazin Beat).
A friend of mine on a car club I was in introduced me to a CD that he titled "Driving Experience Vol 2" (which I still have yet to find out where he got that title) and said it was a car racing anime that was going to be released in the US in the next couple of years.
